Procedure for requesting deletion of my personal data

This procedure for deleting personal data applies to all users, patients or healthcare professionals of the platforms :

  • Maela Pro : digital solution to improve the follow-up of your patients
  • Maela Ambu : digital solution for monitoring patients by SMS
  • Maela Patient : digital solution to improve the follow-up of your patients
  • Maela Patient – Canada: a digital solution to improve the follow-up of your patients in Canada
  • Digicope : a digital solution for the deployment of prevention campaigns

How do I request deletion of my personal data ?

Users of the Maela Platform may at any time make use of their right to request the deletion of their data. Users can directly delete the app from their smartphone. For account deletion, they must send their request to their monitoring institution, which is responsible for the processing of their data. The contact of the DPO of their institution is indicated in the solution’s Terms of Use, available from the user profile.  

If they have difficulty reaching their institution, users can send their request to dpo-mns@careside.care. MN Santé Holding, as a Data Processor, must seek the consent of the establishment before proceeding with the deletion of the data.  

All user data related to their profile will be deleted from the solution, namely : 

  • Identification data
  • Browsing data, 

For the health data necessary for remote monitoring/monitoring, it is up to the health establishment to define which data should be deleted and which should be kept for a longer period of time to meet the establishment’s legal obligations.
